I have been through the course twice. I was invited to the course by a coaching friend and it made such an impact on my thoughts about coaching. As the Athletic Director of a small school, I required all of the head coaches in our high school to go through the training. After the first session, all of the coaches were hooked. I am excited to see the change in our coaches and ultimately the change in our students and community. Thank you 3D coaching for the platform and resources to reach students in a way that most coaches want to, but just may not know exactly how to.
I felt the information delivered was well timed for coaching during a pandemic. The value of connection and relationships really rings true. Also, the section on motivation and hope was very helpful. A lot of the kids I coach are "feeling hopeless" that there won't be a season, but if we reframe what our objectives are, then I think they will still find value in time spent together!
