Course Overview
This course was created in partnership between the 3D Institute. The completion of this course, prior to assuming duties as an athletic director or coach, fully satisfies the OSAA’s Interscholastic Coaching Course one-time requirement.
- Gain a high-level understanding of the 3D Coaching Framework
- Learn about SHAPE America’s National Standards for Sports Coaches as processed through the 3D framework
- Complete this course as part of OSAA’s requirement to coach in the state of OR

I initially thought the course would be a short online seminar, however I spent so much time learning and investing myself to further my knowledge and skills in the areas of strength and conditioning. The course was very comprehensive and I learned a lot in each of the different modules. I was pleasantly surprised to learn just through the course.
Very informative. Love that you can still be passionate about something but also coach from the heart.
Overall, it seemed to contain a positive outlook towards coaching and instruction. Although it felt a tad bit redundant at times, it was a well-designed course.

Well developed course that is great for all coaches. Super informative. I think every coach at any level should take this course.
I think this is a great course for someone who has NEVER coached or taught in their life. As a coach/teacher for 10 years, I found some information redundant, but I guess that is good to hear things in the videos that I already do as a coach. I just moved to Oregon from California so I am taking the course for the first time.

I’ve been coaching for a while and love different perspectives. 3D helped me realize a few things about myself and my interaction with my kids that are going to make a great impact on the team as a whole.
