This course touches the mind and the heart. I have so many more tools in my coaching toolbox now!

Usually I find courses like this to be rather unhelpful. I was pleasantly surprised at how this course made me re-evaluate some of my coaching principles and want to re-mold my coaching style. I saw some things I was already doing subconsciously but also certain areas I lacked that could be beneficial to the football program.

Good perspective to have when starting to coach

The course was well organized and easy to follow. I would recommend this course to other coaches outside of the high school division (club sports, rec sports, etc.). It helps me understand the do's and don'ts as a high school coach while establishing ideas towards coaching philosophies. This is my first year as a high school, and I feel I am more prepared now after taking this course.

It was refreshing to see a course that went far beyond the x's and o's. The course deals with current issues with sensitivity. And it gives the coach some great plans to become more sensitive with the players, and not be a hard ass all the time.
