Helpful and inspiring course.
Sports are not just about the star athletes, the physically faster or stronger, the ones that have been playing the sport their whole life. It’s also about the mental and emotional. As coaches and athletes we spend more time with each other than are own family’s so building strong, supportive, and healthy relationships are extremely important.
This program did a great job of describing how that can be accomplished and the importance of not being focused on just the performance but to look at the individual athlete and the health of the team.
I love the real stories that coaches shared and new ways how to impact our youth through sports.
Great class!! I really appreciate the multilevel view of coaching and practices on how to coach all 3 levels!
Great information! I really enjoyed the course 🙂
This course was great! Super easy to follow and I learned a lot.
Good course with good overview
This course gave some important reminders and was well-rounded in its approach.
Great program for both seasoned coaches and new coaches like myself. A good introduction to ensure we are serving our role the best way possible.
This course had a lot of good information. Very through and covered all bases.
Great model to better visualize the different components to coaching. Good breakdown of each dimension.
This course is essential to expand upon the coaching that most of us are familiar with. It stresses the importance of training the mind and touching the heart in order to be the best coach you can be.
Excellent information happy to be a coach again!
Very informative. Appreciate the course. Will definitely use the course material in coaching.
I enjoyed the content
I liked the short videos with different speakers. Helped hold attention.
I enjoyed and found this course very interesting
Helpful course to ease back into coaching after a few years off!! Building Relationships and Coaching the Heart were my favorite sections.
Each of the videos were very informative, and each speaker gave meaningful breakdowns on the theory of coaching. What really stuck out to me was how to start off with foundation and fundamentals, and then move on to building on those skills and applying everything the students learn into real life. Starting without foundation is something that young coaches can easily overlook, because they want to please all of the hype and expectations that are put on their shoulders when they forget to start with the basics. Overall, I am very pleased with the course.
This is a great course promoting what all coaching should be. It is about the person and students instead of the sport and winning.
