Course Overview
This course was created in partnership between the 3D Institute. The completion of this course, prior to assuming duties as an athletic director or coach, fully satisfies the OSAA’s Interscholastic Coaching Course one-time requirement.
- Gain a high-level understanding of the 3D Coaching Framework
- Learn about SHAPE America’s National Standards for Sports Coaches as processed through the 3D framework
- Complete this course as part of OSAA’s requirement to coach in the state of OR

I think that this course was an overview for me to look at the perspectives of the athletes, coaches, fans, and officials. The safety and respect of each other as coaches and student-athletes is teamwork and important when building relationships together. This course definitely gave me a broader outlook as a coach.
