Course Overview
This course was created in partnership between the 3D Institute. The completion of this course, prior to assuming duties as an athletic director or coach, fully satisfies the OSAA’s Interscholastic Coaching Course one-time requirement.
- Gain a high-level understanding of the 3D Coaching Framework
- Learn about SHAPE America’s National Standards for Sports Coaches as processed through the 3D framework
- Complete this course as part of OSAA’s requirement to coach in the state of OR
Course seems to cover good coaching concepts and was easy to follow.

The videos were good and had good information. I liked that athletes were in the videos and not just coaches.
Very eye opening to hear the importance of coaching correctly. This course nails home how critical good coaching is. Giving student athletes the tools to help with their game, but the character to apply those tools in every aspect of their life.

I especially loved the use of studies and real life examples. While the information provided was not new to me the concepts were presented in a manner that was easy to follow and structured in a way to be effective when implemented.
