This course was created in partnership between the 3D Institute. The completion of this course, prior to assuming duties as an athletic director or coach, fully satisfies the OSAA’s Interscholastic Coaching Course one-time requirement.
- Gain a high-level understanding of the 3D Coaching Framework
- Learn about SHAPE America’s National Standards for Sports Coaches as processed through the 3D framework
- Complete this course as part of OSAA’s requirement to coach in the state of OR

The course instilled the idea of how extremely positive of an impact a coach can have, and that a certain mindset of someone in a coaching position can help change athletes in a positive and constructive way.

I felt the course was extremely informational and cover all steps of becoming and playing the part of a coach. It gives advice, guidance and how to properly interact with your team. The only thing I would say that is "bad" is the length of time to watch all the videos.
